Office of Academic Services
The Southwest curriculum, like the curriculum of most liberal arts colleges, has its foundation in the study of literature, philosophy, history, mathematics, and science. What distinguishes Southwest from other colleges and universities is its unique emphasis on the traditional American values of faith and freedom.
The primary focus at Southwest is to provide quality instruction. Our major concern is student success. Therefore, the academic policies and programs are designed to assist each student in planning and successfully completing his/her course of study.
